With its own reduction agenda of 70 percent less CO2 emissions in 2050 compared to 2008, Dutch shipowners even strive for a higher ambition than the 50 percent that was agreed with the UN International Maritime Organization last year. The starting position and challenge is that cleaner ships go hand in hand with a well-invested green sandwich.
